MANY complains that Malaysia is not a nice place to stay,
due to political instability, economic issues and educational
conundrum..so on and so forth. However, I think that Malaysia is still has its
absolute advantage, compared with several countries.
This morning, when
I'm paying for the bus fares and I realized that I do not have the small change
to pay it! Luckily there was a guy noticed this situation and exchanged for
small change for me. I really appreciate for his kindness and this is what I really
think that how Malaysia distinct from any other countries - warm and
caring cultures. In fact, it's not just happens around all of the Malaysian,
even visitors or foreign workers are also influenced by our cultures. Frankly
speaking, this is the second time I do not have the sufficient small change and
helped by the bus passengers. The first time was happened few months ago, it
happens when a foreign worker (which is usually discriminated by our citizen,
as they have misconceptions that they are awfully bad guys and commit crimes in
our country, which I think it shouldn't be happen as they commit lesser crime
than us on a per 1000 basis according to the statistics
. In reality, they keep our
country growing and going. So, please stop the blaming.) Let’s continue, what
the foreign worker did was he just paid the bus fare for me when he realized that
he also did not have the sufficient change. This is a very touching scene for
me.
Well, there are still several features that make us distinct and
proud. The most blatant and undeniable one is the - FOOD - tomyam, laksa, char koay teow, ba po...etc
